The Perfect Interview Outfit With An Edge

I’ve been living in London for almost a month now and so job hunting has been top priority for me – especially since I’ve booked a weekend trip to Paris at the end of the month. (If you have any recommendations on places to visit aside from the obvious, leave a comment below.)

Having only packed one suitcase for my move from Toronto, I ensured I brought some pieces that would be interview-appropriate and can easily be made more stylish or parred down.

For this look, I paired a high-waisted mini skirt with a classic white button down, black ankle boots and a leather jacket, which I’ve been wearing non-stop these days. The look is formal but not too serious. I think it’s safe to say that wearing stilettos to interviews isn’t necessary. Unless, of course, you’re a lawyer or in a finance beat.

Jacket and skirt, Zara; white blouse, Aritzia.

I picked up this jacket last fall and honestly, I’m so glad I brought it with me. It goes with almost anything and really gives any look an edgy vibe.
