Day Trip To Cambridge

One of the perks of living in London is being able to travel to Europe for cheap. And while I have been loving exploring different cities all over, I’m now making it a point to start seeing more of the U.K. Most recently I went to Cambridge, which is about an hour and a half journey by train from London. Like Oxford, the city was reminiscent of what it would be like to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The city exudes charm and is built around a university, and it has honestly made me want to go back to school so I can live out my Harry Potter fantasy. Perhaps a masters in a subject to be determined in a couple of years when I have some money saved up? This move to London hasn’t been the cheapest I’m afraid.

As for my #ootd, I wanted to keep it casual as it was a rather hot day. I sported a classic denim skirt, which I’ve been on the hunt for quite some time now, paired with a cropped black tee, ankle boots, and round sunnies.

I’ve weirdly been into denim lately. I feel like it’s a very popular trend here in London and so I’ve become drawn to it over the last little while. Also, just ordered myself an oversized jean jacket, which I’m praying suits my aesthetic. Been wanting one for some time now and haven’t had any luck. Has to be the perfect fit, you know?
