American fashion magazines all make a big play for its September issue; scoring someone pretty major to don the cover. The most anticipated of them all is obviously Vogue, which normally picks the highest profile celebrities–Jennifer Lawrence covered September 2013.

The pull out cover features Arizona Muse, Edie Campbell, Imaan Hammam, Fei Fei Sun, Vanessa Axente and Andreea Diaconu in addition to the main cover image featuring Joan Smalls, Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss.

These “Instagirls” may not fit the traditional definition of a celebrity, but they will definitely help Vogue sell the most copies. I mean Cara Delevingne alone has over six million Instagram followers. I think it’s safe to say she’s hit celebrity status.
