Best Dressed at the 2015 Golden Globes

Award season officially kicked off with the Golden Globes last night and we couldn’t be more excited. Mostly because we love critiquing the red carpet looks worn by Hollywood’s elite. Here are Kenny and I’s top picks from the award show!

The three ladies that had me girl crushing all night were (obviously) Amal Clooney, Kate Hudson and Emma Stone. Obsessed with the black and white theme here.

For a red carpet first-timer, Amal stunned in this Dior Haute Couture black gown paired with elbow-length white gloves. This girl is the epitome of minimalism, am I right?!

Kate Hudson rarely disappoints on the red carpet. She continued her streak in this white Versace gown featuring a plunging neckline and intricate cutouts–a dress that could’ve been borderline trashy but Kate wore it with elegance.

This Lanvin jumpsuit featuring a big bow in the back as a statement accessory is everything. And Emma Stone in it makes it that much more fab.

I’m a total sucker for princess-like dresses so when Allison Williams emerged in this Armani Privé gown, I nearly died. Okay, maybe not literally but look at that dress–the colour, the beading; j’adore!

Pants on the red carpet worn by women makes me incredibly happy. Lorde looked incredibly cool in this Narciso Rodriguez ensemble paired with a dazzling statement necklace.

I love this understated Michael Kors dress on Emily Blunt. Shows off a little skin but still very classy on her.

Julianne Moore’s custom Givenchy dress was all razzle dazzle with a hint of flintiness. She mentioned she really liked feathers and her wish was her command. The beautimous ombre dress was a stunner–a definite best dressed contender.

Emma Stone’s Lanvin jumpsuit was simple, modern and very elegant. This strapless piece showcased intricate bead work that really feminized the look. Bravo! She carried it really  well.

Heidi Klum is rocking a lovely tan from her recent Caribbean trip, adding a beautiful glow to this gorgeous single shoulder strap Versace number. Worn with her side swept blonde hair, she is the epitome of old-Hollywood Glam. I love how she didn’t really accessorize which might have taken attention away from the dress itself.

Dakota Johnson’s Chanel Couture dress was very glitzy and I loved every inch of it. That’s all I’m going to say.

First and foremost, I’d like to say that WOW! J Lo looks stunning! This woman does not age, I swear, I’m going to need your secret girlllll. This Zuhair Murad dress is glamorous and dramatic, with the exaggerated cape and high slit. It ain’t a dress for J Lo unless it has a plunging neckline. And with that rocking hot body, why not.

The newly single Kate Hudson rocked a strapped Versace gown confidently! The cutouts in the right places made this dress very tasteful, making her one of the top contenders for being the best dressed of the evening.

Simplicity is beauty! Reese Witherspoon wore a simple yet very elegant dress by Calvin Klein. She rocked this gorgeous dress with side swept hair.

Elie Saab creates the most beautiful gowns! Case in point, Kate Beckinsale’s jewel encrusted dress. I admire the fluidity of the bottom half of the dress, waist down and the structured aspect of the top.
