My Winter Skin Routine

In the last year, my skin has become more sensitive than ever. So, I’ve had to be a lot more careful with what products I use, especially on my face. But alas, I have found the ones that work for me and have given me great results!

Having a great face cleanser is essential all-year round. Purity Made Simple from Philosophy is my favourite because it not only cleanses your skin, but also removes makeup while toning and lightly hydrating it.

I swear by the Ocean SaltΒ face and body scrub from Lush! It’s mixed with fine and coarse sea salt for serious exfoliation, and balanced with coconut oil and avocado butter that helps soften the skin. Oh, and there’s also lime oil as well as limes extracted in vodka to brighten and tone. You just can’t go wrong with this one!

The best face masks are made of charcoal. This one from Origins literally transforms your skin on the harshest of winter days. And, it’s good for all types of skin.

Having inherited the darkest of circles, an eye mask for me is essential. After trying a few different ones from Sephora, the Pearl eye mask has to be my favourite. It evens out the eye contour, minimizes irregularities, and illuminates the skin for eyes that appear more uniform, radiant, and fresh.

I prefer scentless creams when it comes to my face and Aveeno is the best. It’s light and lets your skin breathe, which are the two most important things for me.

For my body, however, I don’t mind having a fresh-smelling scent. Fresh’s Sugar Lemon Body LotionΒ also has a light formula while leaving the skin feeling dewy and soft.
