How To Make A Well-Balanced Smoothie Bowl

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending a smoothie bowl making workshop hosted by blogger and holistic nutritionist Joy McCarthy of Joyous Health. I’ve never made a smoothie bowl before, butΒ after trying one for the first time, I’m hooked.

I was completely blown away by how easy it is to make one, and am glad to know the dos and don’ts.Β According to Joy, a well-balanced smoothie bowl contains protein, phytonutrients, good fat and fiber – and can be served in a bowl, a coconut or a even a pineapple. I bet a watermelon would serve well too if you’re extra hungry!

Here’s a tasty smoothie bowl recipe for you to try.
